Emily fell in love with dance and performing at a very young age – from the time she could walk, she was prancing around in tutus and leotards, choreographing dances to every song she heard. Following this passion earned her a position with the Atlanta Ballet, where she trained and danced as a member of the corps de ballet. Fifteen years later, Emily is now an award-winning dancer and choreographer who has studied, performed and taught with numerous companies, schools, and theatres across the country. Among the most notable achievements are earning her Dance Equity Card and acting as a live-action model in the Wii Just Dance video game series. Some local choreography credits include CATS, West Side Story, Shrek the Musical, Once on This Island, Seussical, and Oklahoma! As a dance instructor, Emily strongly believes in teaching solid technique paired with creative expression in order to help each individual dancer find their artistic voice. Emily holds a BFA in Dance/Theatre Performance from NKU.
