Tippy 2's:
Shoes: White leather ballet shoes (Loshin’s Economy Leather Ballet, Bloch's Dansoft, or Capezio's Daisy).  Boys may be barefoot.
Girls Attire: Leotard, footed tights and ballet skirt (skirt should be no longer than knee length, please).  Attire can be any color.
Boys Attire: T-shirt and Shorts/Sweatpants

Pre-Dance & Kinder Combo Classes:
Ballet Shoes: White leather ballet shoes (Loshin’s Economy Leather Ballet, Bloch's Dansoft, or Capezio's Daisy).  Boys may be barefoot.
Tap Shoes: Tan tie tap shoes (Loshin's Theo Tie Tap. Other retailers also carry this style, but may need to "special order" them in tan).  This shoe has a 1/2 inch heal.  No "buckle strap" style tap shoes please!  Please also purchase tap shoe fasteners.  Boys should wear black "oxford/jazz shoe" style tap shoes (Bloch's Student Jazz Tap, or Capezio's Tapster).
Girls Attire: Leotard, footed tights and ballet skirt (skirt should be no longer than knee length, please).  Attire can be any color.
Boys Attire: T-shirt and shorts/sweatpants

Ballet/Lyrical:
Shoes: Pink split sole leather or canvas ballet shoes

Jazz, Contemporary, Flexibility/Leaps/Turns, Adult Dance:
Shoes: Tan OR Black laceless split sole jazz shoes (Bloch’s Super Jazz).  Students may also wear "modern dance" style shoes for class (Dance Paws, Foot Undeez, etc.). YOU MAY NEED A DIFFERENT COLOR FOR THE RECITAL. COLOR TBA!
Girls Attire: Any combination of the following types of dancewear: leotard, tights, cami/tank-top, lycra/fitted shorts (any style/color).
Boys Attire: T-shirt and shorts/sweatpants

Hip Hop & Zumba:
Shoes: *Gym Shoes (*specific shoes for our 2009 Recital Hip Hop performances are TBD - please contact the studio for more info)
Attire: Dancewear or t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants

Tap:
Level 1 Shoes: Tan, 1 inch heal, with a buckle strap tap shoes (Bloch's Merry Jane Tap Shoe)
Levels 2 - 3 Shoes: Black, 1.5 inch heal, with a buckle strap tap shoes (Bloch's Showtapper, or Loshin's #22 Danstrap Tap Shoes)
Levels 4 Shoes: Black, “jazz shoe” style, split sole, laceless (Bloch's #S0389 Tap Flex). Some local retailers may carry, but can also find @ Discount Dancewear.
Boys: Boys should wear black "oxford/jazz shoe" style tap shoes.  "Split-sole" style is best for accuracy.
Attire: Dancewear or t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants

Pointe:
Shoes: Pointe Shoes (Capezio or Bloch brand, visit any of the local retailers listed at the bottom of this list for proper fitting).  Purchase ribbons & elastic, but please do not sew on until after the first class, so that instructor may check shoe fit and style.
Attire: Any combination of the following types of dancewear: leotard, tights, ballet skirt, cami/tank-top, lycra/fitted shorts (any style/color).

Latin/Ballroom:
Shoes: Shoes with smooth, non-rubber soles.  If you'd like to purchase actual ballroom/Latin dance shoes, instructor can make recommendations.
Attire: Comfortable clothing
