Competition Teams

We are thrilled to offer dance competition teams at Cincy Dance Studio,LLC!  As a member of our competing team, students will experience a new and exciting level of dance, performing, the thrill of competition, and comradery with their team members and instructors. 
The teams will attend 2 competitions (in Winter/Spring 2010), and will also attend a dance workshop in November 2009.  Teams will have the opportunity to compete in the following forms of dance:  Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop & Tap.  Solos/Duets in any dance form are optional for those advanced students who are interested.  They will also perform in our June Recital, and potentially at community events in our area.

Our competition teams will require a higher level of commitment; both in their class/rehearsal time, and financially (including classes/rehearsals, competition/workshop fees, and costumes).  We will provide fund-raising opportunities whenever possible, and encourage parent involvement in our “booster club” to help the teams in those activities.  There will also be requirements regarding attendance, as our teams need to be prepared as they enter competitions.
